Syrphids stand out for their ease of application and installation in the crop in the absence of pest. In addition, their high flight capacity allows them to travel kilometers in search of emerging spots. This allows a very early control of the aphid, reducing the number of phytosanitary treatments.

In which crops are used?

In those with aphid problems

We develop application protocols in greenhouses and outdoors, with experience in more than 30 crops. Currently, hoverflies are applied in greenhouse and outdoor vegetables, citrus, fruit trees, ornamentals, berries and extensive crops, such as rapeseed. We work with organic and conventional producing companies.

Research & Development

At Biocom we collaborate with research and we are committed to the development of new protocols that include syrphids within the preventive and curative strategy in the fight against the aphid pest.
